Hi,

That's my question, is there a converter to convert video files into dpg video that works on a macintosh computer?

Thanks,

Google (http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=dpg+mac&btnG=Google+Search&meta=) says yes

For DPG converter on mac try this :

http://homepage.mac.com/atkinson.d/DPG Converter.zip

you’ll need to create a folder in which you ‘ll put ”DPG converte” but also ”mencoder”, wich you can find here :

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mplayerosx/ffmpegXbinaries20060307.zip

et voilà!

Let us know how you get on.

It does convert it to dpg, however it does not resize your video. And you can't change this in the preferences-menu.
I think you have to resize your video before you convert it with this application.
Here's a free website to do so. media converter (http://media-convert.com/convert/)

No. A power PC works fine.

To make this application work you have to create a folder and drag the files Chuck posted above in it. Then open 'dpgconverter' and drag-and-drop your movie files.

Here's an "2 months ago" update of dpg converter (http://www.somefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/dpg-converter.zip)

I tried the first version 0.1.0 and got the blue faces but sound was fine. I tried the second version 0.2.0 and the color is fine but the audio breaks up and sounds terrible. Anyone else have same problem?

I tried the 2nd version and the audio and video are great! And it does resize your video.
I've been looking for this for a long time.
Thanks,
